Mojacar (La Mata) update
Janet Lawrence reported that at a recent meeting with Mojacar Town Hall the Club has been advised that the proposed bowling green and finances are in place and the next meeting on 15 Sept is to decide which contractor to go with and the work would start immediately after.
Last season it was agreed that Mojacar (La Mata) would continue to run one team in the WTL by paying green fees to Cabrera and Almeria for their home games for that season only. However many members have now joined ALBC who will be entering a fourth team so there will be the capacity for these members to play in that team while they are members of ALBC.
An amendment to Rule 16 will be made to delete “(with the exception of Mojacar (La Mata´s) home matches for the current season.”
Cabrera´s teams have reduced to 3 as they have withdrawn Barcelona.
There will be a total of 11 teams this season.
The league will start on 3rd October – 12th December 2012 and then from 16th January – 27th March 2013.
4 Player Registration
Last season registration of new players was sometimes being left to the last minute – therefore it was agreed to amend Rule 4 to read:
“All players representing a team in a match must be registered for that team with the Co-ordinator at least 24 hours prior to the match.”
It was confirmed that if a team has an unregistered player or if a team has only 2 players the match can be played but Rule 10 applies.

John thanked the Captains for sending the results through early enabling him to circulate the positions to all clubs the same evening.
