The Reliant Trophy played on 29th July, between Wayne and Carole Roberts and Glenis Atkinson, who although played a lot of pressurised bowls, were unable to beat the winners, John Mannall, Viv Digweed and John Fitzgerald.
October started once again with three friendlies. Two were a Personal Touch, Peter Yardley Touring games played at home.
