2014 January Monthly Report
First monthly report of 2014 and not a lot has happened but will try and update you on any information available.
Competitions this month were very few. The CALB 11’s was played during 2013. However the Final between Almeria and Indalo was played on 9th January. Unfortunately Almeria lost.
The CALB 4’s started Jan 7th and will continue until 11th February. At the time of writing, results are that ABC Red and Blue teams are head in the leagues. If this is the end result it would be nice to have a competition between the two teams to establish who the ‘Kings’! of the 4’s League.
The ‘Sunday Lunch Bonanza. Is going well although again because off other fixtures, only three games were played .
Only club competition, the Joe McCraw Singles (metre stick) was played this month. The winner was John Fitzgerald who beat Jim Pike after a hard fought game. The Ladies and Men’s Club singles started on 30th January and finishes on 2nd February which I will report on in the February Monthly Report.
